Who we are looking for

At Colorado Energy Systems, we’re always excited to meet motivated people who are passionate about renewable energy and committed to quality work. Whether you’re an experienced technician or just starting your career, we value team members who bring curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

While the qualifications and traits outlined below may not apply to every role, they reflect the general skills, mindset, and values we look for across our team. Specific requirements will vary by position.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Technical Know-How – A background in electrical work, renewable energy, or related fields is helpful. Experience with PV systems is especially desirable.

  • Problem-Solving Skills – The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot challenges with a steady, solutions-focused approach.

  • Certifications – Credentials like NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) are a plus, but not required.

  • Hands-On Experience – Prior work in installation, design, or maintenance is preferred, but we also welcome motivated entry-level candidates eager to grow.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install & Maintain Systems – Work with solar and backup power systems to ensure they meet high standards of safety and performance.

  • Support Customers – Provide guidance and technical support, helping clients feel confident in their systems.

  • Contribute Ideas – Share insights to help us improve, innovate, and stay ahead of industry trends.
